Satvic food
Every meal at Arpanam is prepared the way food is cooked inside the ashram — with cleanliness, awareness and devotion. Simple, seasonal and freshly made, cooked to keep the food’s natural energy intact.
We begin before dawn, sourcing fresh, seasonal vegetables and cooking only for the day — nothing is stored overnight or reheated from before.
The food is sattvic: no onion or garlic, minimal oil and spice, and never anything that dulls the system. What matters most is not just the recipe, but the state in which the food is made — cooked calmly, as an offering.
From the grain we choose to the pot it’s cooked in, every step is meant to bring you a meal that feels light, clean and alive.
